Google announced that they will be launching a new operating system call the Google Chrome OS. The company said that Google Chrome OS will be launching in the second half of year 2010 and it is described as Google’s attempt to “re-think” what operating systems should be. Google Chrome OS will be an open source, lightweight operating system targeted at netbooks. Can’t wait for it?

This is a direct challenge to Microsoft. As you all know, Microsoft Vista OS is unable to run on a scaled-down laptops but as for Microsoft Windows 7 OS, it is said that scaled-down laptops such as netbooks are able to run it. Let’s wait till October this year and see what happens.

We pay tribute to the late king of pop Michael Jackson. It was a sudden and shocked news that we hear the news this morning. He collapsed at his home at around 4.00am Malaysian time and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center. At around 5.20am Malaysian time, he was pronounced dead. Sources said that he was suffering cardiac arrest.

“A cardiac arrest, also known as cardiopulmonary arrest or circulatory arrest, is the abrupt cessation of normal circulation of the blood due to failure of the heart to contract effectively during systole.

A cardiac arrest is different from (but may be caused by) a heart attack or myocardial infarction, where blood flow to the still-beating heart, is interrupted (as in cardiogenic shock).” – Source from Wikipedia

We’ve actually not been watching Malaysia movie that is showing in cinema but we will definitely watch “Setem” which will be releasing in cinema on 30th July 2009. One of the actor is Afdlin Shauki. Setem is produced by Tayangan Unggul Sdn. Bhd. and directed by Kabir Bhatia Read the synopsis below and watch the trailers. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE = JUST DON’T BE LATE

Sid and Joe, two common conmen, are instructed by their adopted father, Pak Ramli, to steal the Barring Stamp which is said to be valued at USD4 million. Pak Ramli needs RM500,000 to save the orphanage where Sid and Joe grew up. Sid and Joe, rather reluctantly, have to acquiesce, though without a plan in sight. However, Sid and Joe are not the only people eyeing the Stamp. Lim Piranha, the head gangster catches wind of the Stamp, and wants it for himself. And so does Mani, an ex convict, who has just got out of jail… yet again. He wants the Stamp as he thinks money will help him save his marriage. Vellu, a security guard, who happens to be Mani’s best friend, is also the guard for the Stamp which is supposed to be delivered to the Malacca Museum.

An elaborate plan is set up by all parties to get the Stamp, but alas! It doesn’t end up with any of them, but with Aryanto, an illegal immigrant who has just gotten off the boat in Klang, and is searching for his liaison, Marcello. Marcello, being the more conniving one of the two, knows the value of the Stamp and schemes to sell it to the highest bidder. Unfortunately (again) the Stamp ends up with Iskandar, a blind man and his sister, Alliya, who have no idea that they have this valuable Stamp in their possession. Alliya uses the Stamp to post a letter… and the postman is now the next target for all three gangs! Who will get the Stamp? Will the conmen ever win? Or is there an even bigger con going on that none of them is aware off
