ASW2020 SOLD OUT ON MONDAY ITSELF FOR NON-BUMI UNITS. BUMI UNITS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!

Economy downturn has hit the Fixed Deposit (FD) interest rates dropped below 2.5%. It’s good to hear that Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat, ASM and ASW2020 is launching new units to the public during this time of the year. Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat which is a new investment offers a fixed profit/return of 5% per annum which the profit payments made on a quarterly basis. The sales period for Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat is from 14th April 2009 till 13 May 2009.

As for Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM), a total number of 3.3 billion units were put up on sale from 20th April 2009 till 20th July 2009 subject to availability. The net distribution per unit (sen)for Amanah Sahan Malaysia (ASM) for the past years were good with 2006 – 6.75, 2007 – 6.80, 2008 – 7.80.

Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) also launched the Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW2020) with a total of 2 billion units put up on sale from 27th April 2009 till 6th May 2009. The net distribution per unit (sen) for Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW2020) was 2006 – 6.80, 2007 – 8.00, 2008 – 7.00.

The attractive part is that you can purchase Amanah Saham Malaysian (ASM) and Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW2020) via Maybank2u without having to queue in such a long line or even taking a day off at work. Maybank2u – Applicable only for Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB).
